Bronx Attractions Yankee Stadium

Yankee Stadium

Yankee Stadium and the famous New York Yankees baseball team are right here in the Bronx – to be more exact in South Bronx. The current Yankee Stadium opened in 2009, replacing the original stadium constructed in 1923. Nevertheless, the exterior architecture and design of the current Yankee Stadium resembles the old stadium. The stadium has a capacity to accommodate nearly 51,000 spectators and built at a cost of $1.5 billion, the most expensive baseball stadium ever built. The stadium also features 4,300 club seats and 68 luxury suites.
